Carefree – Life

Who is carefree; young children and animals? When did we grow up and stop being carefree? This is a question I ask myself when I look at my little one and see how she is exploring and developing herself. How she is curious and everything becomes an adventure for her. Nothing stops her even if she does or does not realise the danger behind it; she’s just carefree.

Is this not the same for animals too? Birds fly wherever they like, safari animals roam the wild and sea creatures swim to their hearts content. They set up base where they feel its convenient and they feel comfortable, whether it becomes a permanent home or a temporary place to live; they’re carefree.

So why when we become adults do we forget to be carefree and stop enjoying our life to a certain degree? Why isn’t everyday an adventure and instead has just become a ‘routine’? Maybe we need to break free and be carefree and see where this would take us. Go out and explore life; for you only live once.
