After being away for 2 weeks to spend time with my family and be on holiday, I am now back to blogging.
Learning; this is something that has to be done whenever we try something new for the first time. We learn until we master it. I didn’t realise how even the smallest things that we take for granted or not even pay attention to was actually something that we didn’t know how to do before. I came to this realisation and thought about it more deeply when I had my baby daughter. When she took her first breath, to rolling around, to eating food and now crawling and talking gibberish.
Everything we do for the first time is new and sometimes when we get angry or lose our temper at parents/older people for not understanding something that we find easy, we tend to forget that there were things that we didn’t know how to do and they were there to teach us. Or when we get angry at small children for not understanding the word “no” because they are trying to explore and figure things out for themselves but not realising that we also didn’t know the same thing at their age.
Going to school, university and getting a job are all a form of learning but we do things in our everyday life that sometimes we don’t realise but have learnt something new.
We should be grateful that we are able to do things we can, as not all are as fortunate as us and that we have the opportunity to learn more everyday. So I encourage for you all to go out there and learn something new, whether it is a small or big thing, you’re learning. That is something that no-one can take away from you.
